Blog Hunting

I haven’t really mentioned what makes a good blog in my opinion. See, I’m not a critic, not person who has a standard list of things I go through to critique a blog. I simply like it or I don’t. Yes, that is simple. It is also true. Most blogs are somewhere in the middle of really good and really bad. Most of the blogs I look at and do like are in the middle. Not everything is terrific about it but it has appeal and I just like it.

Cooking blogs, pet blogs, gadgets, Christian blogs, contests and that sort of thing will grab my eyes. Someone’s got a great blog but then it takes a long time to load is a problem for me. I’ve run across several blogs I would love to write about but the blog doesn’t load quickly. I have DSL so it loads semi-slowly for me. I wonder what would happen if someone who still had dialup wanted to go onto that site. I suspect that it would be difficult at best and really slow at worst.

What that means is that I will be giving other blogs a good look see and some will show up here. I love to give a good report on those blogs. If you want me to review your blog, please use the email address at the right and I will get to it as soon as possible. A number of people have loved my review and links for their blogs. You will too.

Wandering around the net, I noticed this blog with the best title. I love that title. It sounded like a kid at first but it is most definitely not a kid. This author shows her humor and that she knows a bit about other things online too. The Crayon Writer is a really nice blog that has a lot of information on it. How about webhosting? We had to do a lot of research to find the one place to use for webhosting ourselves. She tells you about a new one.

But I have to say that I was really drawn to this one blog post called Signs you’re addicted to the Internet because I have thought that myself. So, I had to read it. I think the worst part is that I agreed with so many of those signs. ACK!! Oh my goodness, I am addicted to the internet!!! Wait, maybe not. I don’t have to be without the net. My connection is safe! And of course, I do not try to borrow my neighbor’s connection. They don’t have one. How on earth do they manage that??? Anyway, this blog is great and I advise you to check it out right away. It truly has been a while since I put a post on here. I really did not intend for that to happen this way. But the world gets into your life and that’s that. But now, I do have a review of a blog I want to give. It’s this one. It isn’t what I had hoped it would be but I expect it to get there. It will just take a bit of time.

This blog is going to be reviewing other blogs and possibly products sometime really soon. I love giving my opinion and that’s exactly what this blog is all about. So, I will be at it again very soon. There are a large number of blogs I intend to get to and review. I have my work cut out, don’t I. I love it!!
